Canadian Music Centre. BUS OPERA is a new absurdist musical work by Rebecca Gray. Follow an alienated Millennial as their hopes, anxieties and gender identities collide on an overnight bus trip. At the intersection of opera and theatre, this work encompasses many musical styles and spoken text as it weaves through dream worlds, the real world and the shifting passengers making 3:00 am journeys.

With the idea conceived at the Banff Opera in 21st Century program 2021, Daevyd Pepper (singer, director, producer) and Rebecca Gray (singer, composer, librettist) have but working towards this moment for a long time. BUS OPERA was developed for three days with a team of stellar creatives.
